Hormone Therapy FAQs

  • DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

NO, we do not accept insurance. Here are 4 reasons why.

    1. The standard of care for all insurance companies for testosterone injections dictates that the injections are to be performed in the clinic. This means drop shipping is out of the equation. This also now means that the patient must get out of work, drive across town, check in, wait in the waiting room, get the injection, fill out any paperwork, and drive back to work. This has to be done at least 4 times per month!!!
    2. Legally, co-pays MUST also be collected at each visit (in-clinic or telemedicine) for our services to remain in compliance and that amount by itself can approach the $195.00.
    3. Owing certain percentages on regular laboratory services becomes a cost with many insurance programs.
    4. Insurance will NOT pay for HCG, Enclomiphene, clomid and anastrozole (estrogen blocker), so you would have to pay out of pocket, pick up from a pharmacy, and ensure you always have plenty in stock when you need it. Just these medications alone can run upwards of $195.00 per month with co-pays when using health insurance.

Because of all these possible complications, we choose to utilize a cash-pay system ONLY! That way, we can cost-effectively guarantee the delivery of the medication to your home which will ensure you always have it when it’s time to administer the prescription as well as actually save you money!

  • HOW MUCH IS IT GOING TO COST?

Our program comes with Testosterone, Anastrozole if necessary, Clomid if needed, unlimited consultations, unlimited lab work, all supplies, all shipping and handling. All of this for only $195.00 per month.

  • HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY MEDICATION?

We will teach you everything you need to know to self-administer the therapy using only 3-4 minutes per week.

  • DO I HAVE TO GO PICK UP MY MEDICATION AT THE PHARMACY EVERY MONTH?

No, we will have the medications drop-shipped directly to your front door (or office).

  • HOW OFTEN DO I HAVE TO VISIT THE OFFICE?

We can run the program remotely utilizing our telemedicine program. You will be required to visit a LabCorp facility every few months to provide us with lab work.

  • WHAT DO I DO IF I STOP FEELING THE BENEFITS OR BEGIN FEELING ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Please call us ANYTIME you have questions or concerns with ANYTHING regarding our therapy. If you feel any side effects whatsoever between testing intervals, we will test your blood for free to ensure the appropriate changes are made. Remember, you are paying us for medical supervision!

  • I’VE HEARD THAT ONCE I START TESTOSTERONE THERAPY, I CAN NEVER STOP. IS THAT TRUE?

No, it’s not true when the program is administered with the appropriate co-traveling agents. If you simply take testosterone alone for a long period of time, yes, your body’s physical ability to create its own testosterone will atrophy significantly (sometimes permanently). When you administer testosterone with HCG, Enclomiphene, Clomid, or any of the other agents we use, your body continues to produce its own testosterone, keeping that biological function completely intact.

  • WILL TESTOSTERONE THERAPY REDUCE MY SPERM COUNT?

It definitely can, again though, just like the atrophy issue, this issue can be completely mitigated with the appropriate co-travelers. If you are currently (or soon to be) family planning, please make sure the practitioner understands this during your consultation so we can give you the appropriate prescription.

  • IF I HAVE QUESTIONS WHILE ON THE PROGRAM, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please understand that we are here for you at all times. You are paying us to medically supervise your health while on testosterone and we can’t do that perfectly without communication from you in the event you have any question, concern or unwanted side effects. Please don’t ever hesitate to pick up the phone and call us for anything!!!

  • IN WHAT RANGE DO YOU GUYS PRESCRIBE?

We don’t use any ranges as our prescribing goals. The issue is that the ranges are incredibly wide, and many labs have very different ranges. Also, the number that works for one person is often far too high or low for another person. Our goals are all about optimal patient outcomes. We don’t stop until you feel as well as possible.
